Louisiana Governor John Bel Edwards has launched a convenient website to help businesses with the reopening process.

This website will not only allow you to register your business, but it will also provide you with updates. Business owners can see the state's phase-by-phase requirements for all types of businesses. Consumers will also be able to file a complaint against a business if they are not operating under the state's guidelines.

Edwards knows there are many businesses eager to open their doors, but he wants to make sure you will have the exact guidelines for each phase of reopening. The state will also be doing business-to-business compliance checks as part of the Open Safely Program.

Edwards extended the stay-home-order until May 15, allowing restaurants with outdoor seating to open with certain requirements and church services to be held outside as long as they follow state guidelines.

The state is estimating more than 20,300 of Louisiana's COVID-19 cases have been presumed recovered.
