Yes, Renee Zellweger looks different! Should we be obsessing over her transformation? NO!! People change and Renee is no exception... she's happy and that's all that should matter. I want to scream at the media for all of the cruel comments they are making about her 'new look'!!

Renee Zellweger's first on screen appearance was in 1992 in a TV movie called 'A Taste For Killing', she was 23 years old. Renee has been in numerous movies over the years like 'Jerry Macuire', 'Me, Myself & Irene', Bridget Jones's Diary' and MANY more. OK, so now that we have established that she has been in the public eye for a while, let's also take note that the last movie she was in was 'My Own Love Song' in 2010... did you see that movie? I didn't. I didn't even know it was a movie. My point here is that Renee Zellweger has been out of the public eye for AT LEAST 4-5 years, maybe more because the few years before 2010 she was in movies I have never heard of or animated movies (so you can't see her face, obviously). She is 45 years old now, not 23, people look different at 45! I know I will. People age. People change. It's normal!

I am so upset with the media for the way they are acting and treating Renee because she 'looks different' or 'looks like she's had plastic surgery' or 'ruined her face' or whatever else people are saying. IT'S HER FACE SHE CAN LOOK HOW SHE WANTS!!! Renee opened up to about her transformation saying:

"I'm glad folks think I look different! I'm living a different, happy, more fulfilling life, and I'm thrilled that perhaps it shows... My friends say that I look peaceful. I am healthy. For a long time I wasn't doing such a good job with that. I took on a schedule that is not realistically sustainable and didn't allow for taking care of myself. Rather than stopping to recalibrate, I kept running until I was depleted and made bad choices about how to conceal the exhaustion. I was aware of the chaos and finally chose different things."

So there you have it! Renee Zellweger is happy! She likes the way she looks and feels, and that is all that matters. It makes me so sad that people want to intrude into her life and ruin her happiness by posting pictures, mean comments and lies. Why does the media feel the need to do this? Lately there has been a lot of backlash about magazines and tv shows calling celebrities 'fat' or making comments about their bodies, WELL THIS IS THE SAME THING! A face is part of a persons body and no one deserves to have people scrutinize the way they look. If Renee Zellweger is loving herself, feeling comfortable in her own skin, and living a happy and healthy life then I think she looks amazing and I am very very happy for her. You go girl!!!
